§ 01
Mid-week stays, outside the holidays
School bookings are welcome for mid-week stays outside of the school holidays, when the lodge is quieter and there is room for a group to spread out and settle in.
Get in touch early with your preferred dates — request a booking using the button below and we'll come back to you with availability and pricing.
§ 02
A club member stays with you
The lodge is run by its members, so a club member will need to stay with your group for the duration of the visit to host and oversee the lodge. Because of this, the maximum bed capacity for a school group — students and teachers combined — is 25.
§ 03
Catered or self-catered
There are both self-catered and catered options — let us know which suits your group when you request a booking.
Either way, we do not have a custodian, so everyone is assigned a chore each day to keep the lodge running smoothly: from helping cook dinner, to washing dishes, to vacuuming, to cutting firewood. Sharing the chores is part of the lodge experience and helps keep costs (and your price) down.
§ 04
Easy access from the carpark
Access is very easy. It is only a very short walk from the carpark to the lodge — around 30 metres on near-flat ground — so loading in gear and supplies is straightforward, even with a big group.
§ 05
Lodge facilities
The lodge is well set up for groups:
• Bunk rooms, with mattresses and pillows provided — just bring a sleeping bag and a bottom sheet to put over the mattress.
• A fully stocked kitchen with all the required utensils, cooking equipment and gear.
• A lounge area over three split levels, plus a nice large open deck.
• A pool table and a table tennis table.
• Bedrooms at the opposite end of the lodge to the living area, to keep things peaceful and quiet for sleeping.
• A fully equipped drying room.
• Four showers — two men's and two women's.
§ 06
Right by the skifield
It's an easy short walk to the base of the skifield to grab rentals and then head up the mountain for the day — so your group can be on the snow with minimal fuss.
§ 07
Family friendly
The lodge is family friendly and we genuinely welcome school groups. If you think it might suit your group, request a booking below and we'll help you plan a great trip.
